Agriturismo Tuscany Time
Agriturismo Tuscany Time is a small-scale, family-friendly nature campsite in the heart of Tuscany, nestled among olive trees and rolling hills. You can stay here with your tent, caravan, campervan, motorhome or rooftop tent. There are also two cosy glamping tents for rent, ideal for those seeking a bit more comfort. The spacious pitches are set on grass or gravel and located near the main building. On-site facilities include warm showers, toilets, a washing machine and a shared kitchen area. Outside, you can relax on sun loungers or enjoy the barbecue area surrounded by greenery. Children can run around freely, play in the fresh air and meet the friendly animals on the campsite. Pets are also very welcome. In the evenings, traditional pizza nights are organised, with pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven.
Discover Pisa and Florence
Pisa is about a 45-minute drive away and perfect for a day trip. The city is, of course, famous for the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa, part of the impressive Campo dei Miracoli. Here you’ll also find the stunning cathedral, the baptistery and the Camposanto, all masterpieces of medieval architecture. You can stroll along the Arno River, visit one of Europe’s oldest botanical gardens, or wander through the charming streets of the historic centre. Pisa has a relaxed atmosphere, with lively squares, cosy cafés, small shops and street performers. Florence is about an hour’s drive away. Visit the majestic Duomo, climb Brunelleschi’s dome for a spectacular view, and admire Giotto’s bell tower. The world-renowned Uffizi Gallery houses masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Walk across the Ponte Vecchio, the iconic bridge lined with jewellery shops, and take your time visiting the Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens. For a breathtaking view over the city, Piazzale Michelangelo is a must, especially at sunset.
