Camping De Gouwe Stek offers a wide range of facilities, including small-scale entertainment during the summer holidays. On the premises, you’ll find three sanitary buildings, all equipped with spacious showers and toilets. Additionally, there’s a large fishing pier on the campsite where you can catch various fish. Just 500 meters away lies a beautiful recreational area called Streekbos. Here, you can enjoy swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, climbing, stargazing, and indulge in snacks and drinks. There’s a separate swimming lake and off-leash area for dogs.
Pipowagens and Safari Tents at De Gouwe Stek
At Camping De Gouwe Stek, besides enjoying a cozy stay at a campsite, you can also spend the night in a pipowagen or luxury safari tent. The pipowagens offer the romantic ambiance of bygone times. Named Snuf, Snuitje, and Klukkluk, these pipowagens are situated in the most beautiful spots of the campsite, where you can relish peace, space, and nature. They come with a full inventory, and Pipowagen Klukkluk has its own toilet. Want more luxury? Opt for the 6-person glamping safari tent Ekster, equipped with its own toilet and television! All safari tents come with a complete inventory. They are located among the camping pitches, on camping field Bovenwoid, and on field Trappelend.
Family-friendly Camping near Enkhuizen
Upon arrival at the campsite, children between 3 and 9 years old receive a booklet with a scavenger hunt. Once completed, they can collect their discovery diploma at the reception. Additionally, the campsite features the Fien and Teun theme and small-scale entertainment during the May and summer holidays, including organized activities like woodworking and crafting. Moreover, there’s a 2.4 km barefoot path around the campsite, the longest in North Holland. Almost every field has a playground for younger children, allowing them to play while you keep an eye on them from your spot. For older children, there’s a volleyball and soccer field, as well as a large pirate ship. There’s also a campfire area, perfect for a cozy evening.

Located in a wooded area near a vast recreational area, Camping De Gouwe Stek is just a stone’s throw from Enkhuizen and within cycling distance of charming villages and historic towns. Just 2.5 km away from the campsite are the IJsselmeer, Zuiderzeemuseum, and Sprookjeswonderland. Looking for a nice beach by the IJsselmeer?
