Camping de Tulpenweide is a small-scale farm campsite in the Kop van Noord-Holland. The campsite is open all year round and combines peace and quiet, nature and comfort on a well-organised site. You’ll stay here in a friendly atmosphere where space and personal attention are key. The location makes it attractive for those who want to cycle, walk or explore the coast. It’s also the perfect base for a day trip to Texel.

Camping amongst the bulb fields in North Holland

The campsite offers spacious pitches with or without private sanitary facilities. Motorhomes up to 7.5 metres can park on the grass, whilst larger motorhomes use special motorhome pitches with their own connections. In addition to camping, you can choose from various types of accommodation. There are chalets with a veranda and private garden, safari tents with en-suite bathrooms, hikers’ cabins and a Finnish log cabin. There is also a unique American school bus converted to accommodate two to four people, complete with its own kitchen and bathroom.

Facilities and a relaxing stay

At Camping de Tulpenweide, it’s all about outdoor living and enjoying time together. In the Cozy House, you can relax with a book, play a game or have a drink on the terrace. Here you’ll also find a vending machine with snacks and drinks. In high season, you can make use of bike hire, and campfire evenings and small-scale activities for children are organised. It is also possible to help look after animals such as chickens, rabbits and goats. In addition, there is a bread service with fresh products from the local bakery, and you can regularly join in communal meals such as pizza evenings, table d’hôtes and dinner nights.

Discover the Kop van Noord-Holland and the coast

The area around the campsite is diverse and invites you to get out and about. You’ll be staying amidst the bulb fields and close to the North Sea coast, where you can get some fresh air or enjoy the beach. Cycling and walking routes take you through polders and nature reserves. A trip to Texel is also easy to arrange.
