Camping Le Glandasse
Camping Le Glandasse is a medium-sized family campsite by a river in the Drôme, less than 2 kilometers from the village of Die. In addition to camping pitches, the campsite also rents out chalets. The swimming pool with a toddler pool offers refreshing relief on hot summer days for both young and old. Additionally, the site borders directly on the Drôme River, where you can paddle, SUP, and canoe. For sports enthusiasts, there is a football field, volleyball court, and pétanque area. Children can also enjoy themselves in the playground and on the mini-golf course. In July and August, fun activities are organized for all ages, such as sports tournaments, dance evenings, and children’s games. For food and drinks, you can visit the on-site restaurant.
Visit Die, a historic town in the Drôme
The campsite is located in the popular camping region of the Drôme, at the foot of the Vercors and near the village of Die. In this village, you can do your daily shopping, and there are several dining options. The village itself is also well worth exploring. Its origins date back to Roman times, and you can still admire an ancient city gate from the third century. The center consists of charming bustling streets with cathedrals and museums. The town is also famous for its delicious wine, Clairette de Die. You can, of course, taste this wonderful wine in the city at one of the restaurants.
