Camping Le Moulin de Pradelle is a charming and small-scale nature campsite nestled in Provence’s Drôme, hidden away in the verdant Roanne valley between river and mountains. You camp here on a rural estate of three hectares with your tent, caravan, camper van, motorhome, or rooftop tent, surrounded by cherry trees, a permaculture garden, and the soothing sound of babbling water.

The pitches are spacious and naturally situated, with a choice of shady or semi-shady spots. There are no fixed pitches, so you’re free to choose your ideal spot. You share the grounds with chickens, a friendly dog and other animals that create a lively yet peaceful atmosphere. There is a large unsupervised swimming pool at the foot of the mountains—perfect for cooling off on warm days. The sanitary block includes toilets, washbasins, and warm showers. There is deliberately no Wi‑Fi to ensure true relaxation. A communal fridge is available to keep your food or drinks cool and electricity is accessible for a small fee. At the cozy P’tit Resto you can enjoy homemade pizzas, salads, ravioli gratin and artisanal ice creams, all prepared with organic, local, or homegrown ingredients. Fresh bread is baked using organic farm flour.

The location is ideal for nature lovers, peace seekers and families alike. You’re at the edge of the river, surrounded by unspoilt nature, far from traffic or crowds. The surroundings offer ample opportunities for walking, cycling and visiting local villages or farms. Wander through charming villages like Saint‑Benoît‑en‑Diois (11 km) and Saint‑Nazaire‑le‑Désert (5 km) with their characteristic architecture and panoramic views of the valley. The region also hosts authentic Provençal markets offering local specialties such as olive oil, truffles and wines from Grignan‑les‑Adhémar and Nyons.
