Camping Le Pré Cathare
Camping Le Pré Cathare is a beautifully situated campsite at the foot of the Pyrenees. The campsite features a swimming pool and is child-friendly. It offers amenities such as a playground, a mini-farm, and a recreation area with a billiards table and TV. Additionally, during the high season, various enjoyable activities are organized, including magic shows, sports competitions, and themed meals. The campsite accommodates around 100 pitches and 40 mobile homes. If you’re feeling peckish or simply don’t feel like cooking, you can visit the snack bar, which offers a wide selection of burgers, sandwiches, fries, drinks, ice cream, and takeaway meals. In July and August, the campsite shop is open, offering fresh bread and croissants daily.

The campsite is located on the outskirts of the town of Lavelanet, at the foot of the Pyrenees. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Camping Le Pré Cathare, you can enjoy tranquility with many amenities within reach. The nearest supermarket is only 500 meters away from the campsite, and in the center of Lavelanet, you’ll find various restaurants. Additionally, there is a pharmacy nearby, and next to the campsite, there are several sports fields, including a football field and tennis court. For hikers, there is a GR (Grande Randonnée) trail passing by the campsite leading to the Montsegur castle. The campsite is approximately a 1-hour drive from Toulouse, 1.5 hours from Andorra, and 1.5 hours from the Mediterranean Sea in the south of France.
