Camping Le Soline
Camping Le Soline is a friendly terraced campsite in Casciano, beautifully situated in the Tuscan hills south of Siena. With a stunning swimming pool and beautiful views, it is the ideal place for families with children and couples looking for peace and quiet. Take a dip in the large semi-Olympic pool or relax in the indoor whirlpool with hot water and panoramic views. For the little ones, there is an indoor heated children’s pool, a playground and a range of activities. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the football and beach volleyball courts, or play a game of table tennis. In summer, sports tournaments and disco evenings are organised. The campsite has clean sanitary facilities, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant-pizzeria with wood-burning oven. Pets are welcome.
Campsite south of Siena
The campsite is located some 20 kilometres south of Siena, at the top of a wooded hill. The pitches are delimited by olive trees and shrubs and some offer beautiful views over the hilly landscape typical of Tuscany. In the distance, for example, you can see Monte Amiata. The village of Casciano is 800 metres away and historic Siena, known for its medieval centre and the famous Piazza del Campo, is half an hour away by car. Nature lovers will enjoy the Alto and Basso Merse nature reserves, with numerous hiking and cycling routes. The nearby Terme di Petriolo offer relaxation in natural hot springs.
Please note: due to the access road, the campsite is more suitable for tents and smaller campers and caravans.
