Camping Les Charmes, an atmospheric campsite surrounded by nature
Camping Les Charmes is peacefully tucked away between the green hills of Saint-André-d’Allas, right in the heart of the Dordogne. The campsite feels intimate and natural, offering plenty of space, privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s true outdoor camping, with all the facilities you need close at hand. Thanks to its central location, you can easily explore castles, caves, charming villages and the most beautiful canoe routes in the region.
From camping pitches to lodge tents
With 85 pitches, the campsite offers something for everyone. The spacious camping pitches are beautifully situated between trees and greenery, flat and equipped with 10-amp electricity. For a little extra comfort, you can choose a comfort pitch with 16 amps, water connection and drainage. The new XL pitches of at least 140 m² are ideal for larger tents or families who enjoy extra space.
No camping gear of your own? Then the mobile homes with wooden terraces or the cosy safari tents are an excellent choice. The accommodations are spread across the grounds, surrounded by nature and close to all facilities.
Water fun and relaxation
The fully renovated pool complex is one of Camping Les Charmes’ highlights. There is a heated outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a toddler pool, a bubble bench, a lazy river and a double slide for even more water fun. While the children play, you can stretch out on a comfortable lounger and enjoy the peace and sunshine.
The campsite also offers a wide range of facilities, including a tennis court, playground, pétanque area, table tennis tables, a small shop, bread service, snacks & pizzas and the charming Petit Bistrot. You’ll also find well-maintained sanitary facilities, fridge rental, baby kits and a small library.
The Dordogne at its best
From Camping Les Charmes, you’re just moments away from the most beautiful sights of the Dordogne. Visit characterful towns such as Sarlat-la-Canéda, walk past impressive castles like Beynac or Castelnaud, or step into prehistory at the Lascaux caves. Nature lovers will also find plenty to enjoy: canoeing on the Dordogne, browsing local markets or wandering through lush forests – it’s all right nearby.
