Camping L’Étang Bleu
Camping L’Étang Bleu is a quiet family campsite with a beautiful swimming pool, located in the north of the Dordogne. The campsite is run by friendly British owners Marc & Jo, who speak both English and French. They have their own on-site restaurant and pool bar by the pool. So you can enjoy a nice ice cream or refreshing drink between swims. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes; from delicious prawns to homemade burgers and pizzas. There is something for everyone. In high season, themed evenings are also organised, such as communal barbecues and moules et frites. Quiet family campsite in the Dordogne
The small campsite is suitable for both those looking for peace and quiet and families with young children. The kids can have fun in the swimming pool or in the playground at the campsite’s entrance. In the surrounding area there are numerous hiking trails and picturesque villages and towns to discover, such as Brantôme and Bourdeille. Be sure to visit the Château de la Mercerie, a beautiful castle reminiscent of Versailles, located half an hour’s drive from the campsite.
