Camping Liabaquet
Camping Liabaquet is a small-scale campsite in the Dordogne, set amidst lush green surroundings featuring forests, meadows and small villages. On the site, you’ll find two gîtes, a small campsite and a glamping tent. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
Small-scale camping in the Dordogne
The campsite has five spacious pitches ranging from approximately 125 to 175 m². The pitches are car-free and overlook the play area and the fishing pond. You can stay here with a tent, caravan or motorhome weighing up to 3,500 kg and measuring up to approximately 8 metres in length. There is also a permanent glamping tent on the site.
Facilities and a relaxing stay
The campsite features a swimming pool where you can cool off and relax. For children, there is a playground with swings, a climbing frame and a sandpit. In addition, there is a large fishing pond where you can fish without a licence or simply enjoy the surroundings. You can use the sanitary facilities with hot showers, and there is a family shower with a baby bath and a children’s toilet. In high season, there is a bread service offering fresh bread and produce from the site. Pizza evenings and communal meals are organised regularly. There are also sports facilities such as table tennis, boules and badminton.
Discover the Dordogne: nature, villages and castles
Nearby lies the Périgord Limousin Regional Nature Park, where you can go for walks and bike rides. There are also various castles to visit, such as Château de Jumilhac and Château Hautefort. A short distance away is the town of Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, with shops and markets. In the summer, there are lively evening markets in the region. You can also visit caves such as those at Villars and Tourtoirac. For a day out, places such as Brantôme and Limoges are easily accessible.
