Camping Loz’Aire Naturelle
Camping Loz’Aire Naturelle is a small-scale nature campsite on the banks of the Tarn River, just outside the village of Ispagnac in the heart of the Lozère region. You camp in a shaded spot under fruit trees, with direct access to the water and a sandy river beach. The spacious pitches are spread across a natural setting and are suitable for tents, caravans, motorhomes, campervans, and rooftop tents.
Atmospheric and relaxed riverside camping
The facilities are simple yet well-maintained: there are showers, toilets, drinking water points, and Wi‑Fi. Electricity is available on-site, though not every pitch has a direct connection, so a long extension cable can be useful. In summer, the restaurant opens every evening except Mondays, offering a warm atmosphere and a set-menu. The bar and large terrace create lively summer evenings. Games are available for children, and the on-site pétanque court invites relaxed evening matches in the sunset.
Location on the edge of the Gorges du Tarn
The campsite is situated between Florac and Ispagnac, at the foot of the Causse Méjean and just minutes from the dramatic Gorges du Tarn. This is a quiet, green corner of the Cévennes National Park, featuring limestone plateaus, rivers, gorges, and caves.

From the campsite, you can set off on hiking routes through the Tarn Valley, to the springs of Quézac or the Château de Montjézieu. Adventure seekers can enjoy canoeing, swimming, or rock climbing in the gorges. Its location in the UNESCO-listed Causses and Cévennes region makes this a unique base for nature lovers. In summer, the nearby village hosts concerts, markets, and various events.
