Camping Onlycamp Le Clos Imbert
Camping Onlycamp Le Clos Imbert is a small campsite by a stream in the heart of Deux-Sèvres, on the edge of the picturesque town of Thouars. The camping pitches are set on a beautiful green site and accommodate tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Additionally, it is possible to rent a hiker’s cabin. For some leisurely entertainment, there is a pétanque court. Furthermore, there is a small campsite shop and washing machines available (for a fee). Don’t feel like cooking? Right next to the campsite, there is a small snack bar where you can grab a bite to eat. As a guest, you get a discount at the swimming pool ‘Les Bassins du Thouet’, which is just a stone’s throw from the campsite.

The campsite is just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Thouars. Here, you can enjoy strolling through the old streets and admire several beautiful sights. Visit the Château des Ducs de La Trémoille, a stunning 17th-century castle known for its impressive architecture. The Eglise Saint-Médard, a lovely 12th-century church, is famous for its Romanesque architecture and historical significance. Another highlight is the Pont des Chouans, a historic bridge over the Thouet River. For a peaceful walk or a picnic, Le Jardin Public is the perfect spot, with its beautiful flowers and plants.
