Camping La Pointe de Roscoff

Camping La Pointe de Roscoff is a lovely seaside campsite in northern Brittany, situated near Roscoff and right on the beach. The campsite covers an area of around five hectares within a protected Natura 2000 area. The campsite overlooks the sea and is ideal for holidaymakers who enjoy the outdoors and want to explore the Breton coast. From the site, you can walk straight to the beach and the coastal path. The peaceful setting, the sea views and the natural surroundings give the campsite a relaxed atmosphere. There is deliberately no Wi-Fi on the site, so that guests can focus on the surroundings and the great outdoors.

Camping by the sea in Northern Brittany

The campsite offers sunny pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. The pitches are spread across a peaceful site and are equipped with electricity. Some pitches are situated around 100 metres from the sea. Those who prefer to rent accommodation can choose from fully equipped rental properties or a Coco Sweet. The terraces of several of the accommodation units overlook the sea, allowing you to enjoy the coast to the full from the comfort of your accommodation.

Facilities and activities on the Breton coast

For children aged three to twelve, there is a playground, and you can also make use of a mini-golf course, a volleyball court and a boules court. In July and August, activities and family evenings are organised. For children aged six to twelve, there are activities focusing on games and nature on weekday mornings. Thanks to direct access to the sea, you can go swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling or walking along the coast. The campsite also has a snack bar with a bar, a launderette and a hire service for items including barbecues and baby equipment. Pets are welcome in the holiday accommodation subject to certain conditions. In summer, the Roskobus stops at the campsite, so you can visit Roscoff even without a car.

Discover Roscoff and Finistère: beaches, Île de Batz and the GR34

From the campsite, you can easily explore the coast of Northern Brittany. The famous GR34 walking trail runs past the campsite and takes you past beaches, rocky coasts, harbours and typical Breton landscapes. From Roscoff harbour, it’s a short boat ride to Île de Batz. Here you can walk or cycle along quiet beaches, coastal paths and small coves. Roscoff itself is also well worth a visit. In the town centre, you’ll find cobbled streets, granite houses, an old harbour and traces of its maritime history. The town is also famous for its Roscoff pink onions. Along the coast, you can go for a swim, fish at low tide or go on a kayaking or paddleboarding trip. For extra relaxation, there are thalassotherapy and seaside wellness centres in the area.
