Camping Rothenfels
Camping Rothenfels is a small-scale nature campsite with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain landscape, located in the green heart of Austria. The camping pitches are distributed on terraces and equipped with electrical connections. For naturism enthusiasts, a separate section is available at the campsite. In the evening, you can enjoy pleasant conversations by the campfire and marvel at the clear starry sky. There is a playground for children where they can have fun, and you can enjoy a refreshing drink at the cozy coffee house with a terrace. The campsite is open all year round, making it ideal for winter camping.
Discover Oberwölz and the Surroundings
The campsite is located at the foot of the medieval castle Rothenfels. Be sure to also take a look at the village center of Oberwölz, where you can stroll through narrow streets with old half-timbered houses and historic buildings. The surrounding area also offers numerous hiking and cycling trails to explore. During the winter months, you can also go skiing and snowboarding in nearby winter sports areas such as Kreischberg, Lachtal, and Turracher Höhe.
