Camping Sengersbroek

Camping Sengersbroek is a small nature campsite situated on the grounds of a nature-friendly pig farm, surrounded by a green landscape featuring pig pastures, natural pools, alder hedges and pollarded willows. The farm is home to Bonte Bentheimer free-range pigs, sheep, chickens and free-range ducks. The campsite is primarily aimed at nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Children can enjoy the small nature playground, and you can walk straight into the countryside from the campsite.

Small-scale camping amongst the meadows

For tent campers, there are 10 spacious pitches in a meadow bordered by trees. Campervans, motorhomes, caravans and trailer tents up to 5.5 metres are also welcome. These pitches offer shade in the afternoon, and there is a communal shaded area under the trees. There is no electricity at the camping pitches, but you can use a communal power point. Those who prefer a slightly more comfortable overnight stay can opt for the charming gypsy wagon for two people. This is situated in the shade of an oak tree and features a fire pit and seating area outside. Breakfast can be booked as an extra. On the site, you’ll find a communal fridge and freezer, two barbecues and a fire pit. In the straw barn, you’ll find a communal area where you can read, play a game or take shelter from the rain. Wi-Fi is also available here, and there’s a self-service shop selling cold drinks, a small selection of organic products and charcuterie made from our own Bonte Bentheimer pigs. Pets are welcome by arrangement.

Discover the countryside around Sengersbroek and the Groote Peel

From Camping Sengersbroek, you can head straight into nature via various walking trails. In the surrounding area, you can go for walks, cycle and spot wildlife. The River Aa meanders within walking distance of the campsite, and nearby you’ll find woods and marshland. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a roe deer in the evening. Buitencentrum De Peelen is about a 10-minute drive away. From here, you can explore the Groote Peel and enjoy a drink or lunch after a walk. At the campsite itself, too, much revolves around being outdoors. You can watch birds, sit by the communal fire or simply enjoy the view over the fields.
