Camping Um Bierg
Camping Um Bierg is a small-scale campsite located in Tarchamps in the northern part of Luxembourg. Situated on high ground, the campsite offers panoramic views of the hilly surroundings. There are approximately 80 pitches available for tents, campers, trailer tents, and caravans. Additionally, there are several rental accommodations, including a tiny house, chalet, and safari tent. During the summer months, the swimming pool provides refreshment, and fun activities for children are organized, such as sports competitions, roasting marshmallows, and treasure hunts. The campsite features a trampoline, table tennis, volleyball, and football field. If you’re craving something delicious or don’t feel like cooking, Restaurant Um Bierg is the solution. Here, you can enjoy breakfast, a cup of coffee, dinner, or a drink seven days a week. Fresh bread rolls, baguettes, and croissants are baked daily, and you can place your order one day in advance at the reception.
Camping in the Hills of Northern Luxembourg
The campsite is located in Northern Luxembourg, near the border with Belgium, in the beautiful natural park of the Upper Sûre. Here, you can enjoy beautiful nature and panoramic views of the hills. Explore the area on foot, by motorbike, or by bike. In the vicinity, you’ll also find many picturesque towns and villages, such as Wiltz and Esch-sur-Sûre, approximately 20 minutes away by car, and Vianden in less than an hour. If the weather isn’t great, you can reach the covered shopping center Knauf in just 15 minutes. Of course, a visit to Luxembourg’s castles is a must. For example, visit Bourscheid Castle (32 minutes) or Wiltz Castle (17 minutes).
