Camping Vicenza
Camping Vicenza is a friendly campsite in the Veneto region of northern Italy, close to the city of Vicenza and the Vicenza Est motorway exit on the motorway between Milan and Venice. The campsite is situated on a leafy site approximately 7 kilometres from the historic centre of Vicenza. Its location close to the motorway makes it ideal for a stopover, but also for a longer stay whilst visiting various towns in Veneto. Deciduous trees provide shade and hedges give the pitches extra privacy. A noise barrier between the main road and the campsite reduces traffic noise.
Comfortable camping in the shade
The campsite has 62 marked-out pitches on grass, all equipped with a 6-amp electricity connection. There are also hard-standing pitches for motorhomes and caravans. Those travelling without their own camping equipment can opt for rental accommodation. Mobile homes and tents are available to hire.
Swimming pool, wellness and good food
Campsite guests can make use of various facilities at the adjacent Hotel Viest. Here you’ll find a restaurant, bar, gym and wellness centre. The rectangular outdoor swimming pool has sun loungers and parasols. There is a separate charge for use of the swimming pool and wellness facilities. The wellness centre includes a sauna, steam room and massage treatments. The restaurant serves a variety of fish and meat dishes. On the campsite itself, there are toilets, hot and cold showers, washing-up areas, a washing machine and a motorhome service point. There are also accessible toilet facilities. Pets are allowed.
Discover Veneto: Vicenza, Venice, Padua and Verona
From Camping Vicenza, you can visit several well-known cities in Veneto. Start close by with Vicenza, about 7 kilometres from the campsite. The city is famous for the buildings designed by architect Andrea Palladio. Visit, for example, Villa La Rotonda and the Teatro Olimpico, the oldest covered theatre from the Renaissance. Padua is also within easy reach, at around 25 kilometres. Venice is approximately 45 kilometres away and Verona around 50 kilometres. If you’d rather leave your car behind when visiting the major cities, you can drive to Lerino railway station, about 5 kilometres from the campsite, and continue your journey by train from there.
