Camping Vivstavarvstjärn
Camping Vivstavarvstjärn is a small campsite on the east coast of Sweden. The campsite is located next to the E4 motorway on an idyllic little lake with a sandy beach. The pitches are partly in a dense forest and partly in open areas. There are also some rustic camping cabins for rent, for those who don’t want to drive all the way to Sweden with their campervan or caravan. There is a communal kitchen that you may use as a guest of Vivstavarvstjärn campsite to cook your own meals. Barbecues are also lit regularly. Wake up in the morning to the birds singing and have breakfast with fresh rolls from the campsite shop. And are you hungry during the day? Take a seat at one of the tables in the café next to reception and order a delicious piece of home-made cake.
Small campsite on Sweden’s east coast
The campsite is conveniently located on Sweden’s east coast at an E4 motorway exit, in the town of Timrå. Here you can enjoy real camping life: playing board games, swimming in the lake and challenging each other to a game of badminton or volleyball on the sports field. Also explore the area and rent a bike for a nice trip through the woods. The centre of Timrå is 1.8 km away and half an hour’s drive away you will find the Västanåfallet waterfall. It’s a lovely place for a walk and you can have a picnic or something to eat and drink at the café. There is also a small museum about how people used to live here.
