At the heart of the village is a central square buzzing with atmosphere. Here you’ll find the restaurant with shaded terrace, the bar, the minimarket and the bazaar. The menu features a wide selection from fresh fish and meats to vegetarian dishes and wood‑oven pizzas. The beautiful pool complex offers multiple pools, sun lounges and space for aqua gym sessions. Both a large pool and a medium one are surrounded by grass and trees — perfect for swimming or relaxing. Children can enjoy the playground or join the animation team, which organises daily fun in the summer. For sporty guests there’s football, basketball, tennis, table tennis, a fitness area, pickleball courts, and even bowls. Want to explore? Rent a bicycle and discover the surroundings at your own pace. If you travel with your dog, there’s a Dog Beach, dog washing facilities, two walking areas, and even a dog trainer available.
Discover Tuscany: nature, towns and cities
Right next to the campsite lies the protected Parco di Migliarino San Rossore, ideal for walks and cycling through woods, dunes and lakes. A few kilometres away is lively Viareggio, famous for its long sandy beaches, colourful art‑nouveau seafront and charming boutique streets. Closer still is musical Torre del Lago Puccini, the birthplace of composer Giacomo Puccini — here you can attend an open‑air opera by the lake or visit his former villa. Cultural highlights like Lucca (29 km), Pisa (20.5 km) and Florence (103 km) make for excellent day trips — as do the marble mountains of Carrara and the picturesque Cinque Terre villages.
