Domaine Troteligotte
Domaine Troteligotte is a small-scale nature campsite in the southwest of France, set on an old farmhouse estate in the heart of the Lot. Surrounded by woodland edges, orchards and gently rolling meadows, you can camp here in peace on a site of nearly two hectares.
Camping with views of deer and hills
The six pitches are spacious and naturally laid out, spread across the grassy grounds around the old farmhouse. You’re free to choose your spot in the sun or shade, with no marked plots or hedges. The terrain is gently sloping, offering beautiful views over the valley and the chance to spot deer grazing in the morning. Dogs are welcome if kept on a leash. The sanitary facilities are simple but always clean and well-maintained. In bad weather or for a cozy evening, there’s a communal space full of games and regional information. You’ll also find hiking and cycling routes that start right from the campsite. After a day of exploring, relax on the covered terrace or veranda with a glass of wine or a good book. In high season, there’s a table d’hôte: join the owners for a lovingly prepared meal with local ingredients. Vegetarian or vegan? No problem, they’ll happily accommodate you.
The Lot at its finest
Domaine Troteligotte is located about 7 kilometers from the charming village of Prayssac, where you’ll find everything you need: from local markets to supermarkets and inviting restaurants. The region is full of natural beauty and characterful villages. Wander through limestone valleys, cycle past sunflower fields, or visit bastide towns and wine estates in the Cahors region. Swimming in the Lot, exploring caves, or visiting castles are also among the possibilities.
