Duckwing Outdoor – Tipi
At Duckwing Outdoor, you can experience a unique stay in a tipi nestled in the green Druivenstreek, situated between Leuven and Brussels. The tipi accommodates 4 people, and additional guests are possible upon request. There’s no traditional bed, but you’ll enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep on extra-thick, high-quality, insulating sleeping mats. To combat cold and moisture, an insulating carpet is also provided. Included in your stay is access to the cozy woodlodge with a fully equipped kitchen. You’ll find a gas stove, microwave, kettle, coffee corner (including coffee and tea), plates, cutlery, glasses, refrigerator, eco-friendly dishwashing liquid, and kitchen towels at your disposal. In short, everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. If you’re a fan of outdoor cooking, you can use the barbecue and fire pits or savor slow cooking on the vintage wood stove/oven. Wood is provided free of charge, and the fridge is stocked with tasty local beers and beverages. For refreshment, there’s an outdoor shower with filtered rainwater and an eco-friendly toilet. Duckwing Outdoor is a very small-scale operation that strives to minimize its impact on the environment by treating nature with great respect.

The tipi is located in a naturally managed garden in the green Ijsevallei, nestled between Leuven and Brussels, near the National Park De Brabantse Wouden. The area is known for its lush rolling landscapes, unique hollow roads, meandering rivers, and numerous forests. Here, you can enjoy peace and space, as well as engage in various outdoor activities. Duckwing Outdoor offers canoe and kickbike rentals, along with numerous hiking, cycling, and mountain biking routes. You can also take a trip to the charming university town of Leuven and, of course, Brussels. Don’t forget to visit Tervuren with its beautiful park and the Africa Museum.
