Hedesunda Camping

Hedesunda Camping is a charm campsite with Dutch owners located on the elongated island of Ön in southern Sweden, less than 2 hours from Stockholm. You can camp on open green fields surrounded by trees. It is also possible to rent a hiker’s hut or log cabin. The campsite has a volleyball court, playground, floating sauna and lakeside beach. Guided mountain bike tours are also offered, and you can hire canoes and SUPs to take to the water. For the children, fun activities are organised during high season, such as crafts, bottle football, Viking tours, baking sandwiches and campfire making. Beachclub Sandsnäs is located on the edge of the campsite by the Dalälven beach. Here you can have a nice meal or enjoy a drink on the terrace. In 2022 Hedesunda Camping was named winner Campsite of the Year in the category ‘the most beautiful charm campsite’.
