La Musardière

La Musardière is a small-scale nature campsite in northern France, nestled amid greenery near Quend-Plage. The campsite lies hidden between dunes and ancient pine trees, making it a perfect spot for those seeking tranquility. You camp on one of the five spacious, separate pitches suitable for buscampers, small campers, and rooftop tents. Fresh water is available, and there is a shared toilet in the host’s house. While there are no showers, fans of basic camping will appreciate the charm of this place. On site, there is a ping-pong table where children can play, and a large communal table where you can eat together or relax with a view of the forest. Electricity is available, and the site is closed to entry at 11:00 PM, with gates reopening in the morning upon request.

Discover the coast and nature of the Somme

The campsite is only a fifteen-minute bike ride from the beach at Quend-Plage. The vast coastline invites walking, sunbathing, and swimming. Nearby are the stunning bays of Authie and the Somme, where you can spot seals and gaze across the mudflats and sandbanks of one of France’s most beautiful natural areas. Day trips to Le Crotoy or Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme lead you to charming coastal towns with markets, outdoor cafés and bay views. The surrounding region is also ideal for cycling tours and hikes through dunes, forests, and along the coast.
