Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf
Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf is a green paradise covering 25 hectares in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord‑Limousin. Here, you camp on a special natural terrain where French countryside life remains pure and untouched. Nestled between forests, fields, a clear natural lake and a gently flowing river, you pick your own pitch—by the water, among the trees or in a sunny clearing. The domaine is designed especially for tent campers, hikers, backpackers, and small adventurers seeking peace and simplicity. The pitches are spacious and natural, each equipped with a picnic table, sun awnings and gentle ambient lighting strung through the trees.
Space, tranquility and a true nature experience
On warm days you can cool off in the swimming pool or paddle in the river. There is also a large natural lake where you can swim. In the morning you easily order fresh bread rolls via the bread service, so you start your day with crunchy baguette or croissants. Guests on longer stays can use the on-site laundry facility. There is a well-maintained sanitary building with hot showers, toilets and dishwashing areas. You’ll also find ecological solar showers outdoors. Driving an electric car? You’ll appreciate the charging station on the domaine. Waste is carefully sorted and a small fee is requested for residual waste, all with respect for nature and tranquility.
Discover the greenery of Périgord‑Vert
From your pitch you can step directly into the landscape. Follow footpaths around the sparkling lake, through shady woods or across sunny open fields. Spot deer at dawn, cast a line in the lake or drift along in a rowboat. For the more active, there are mountain bike trails, panoramic viewpoints and the quiet charm of the countryside. The area is also dotted with picturesque villages. Visit Brantôme (46.5 km), the ‘Venice of the Périgord’, where you can stroll along the Dronne River and marvel at the rocky abbey. This charming town offers riverside terraces, art shops and a relaxed atmosphere. Wander through Saint‑Jean‑de‑Côle (28.1 km), one of France’s most beautiful villages, with timber-framed houses, a medieval bridge and a peaceful village square.
