Microcamping in Oberkirch
An idyllic farm campsite at around 500 meters altitude in the heart of the Black Forest. You camp on one of three peaceful grassy pitches, surrounded by forest and meadows, about 400 meters from the farmhouse. The pitches are accessible only via a quiet forest track. In the evening, you can unwind by the campfire. The sanitary facilities are modern and well maintained, an eight-minute walk from the pitches. You’ll find warm showers and clean toilets. There is also a communal kitchen equipped with basic cooking utensils and a coffee corner. In the covered seating area, you can sit quietly with a book or a snack.
Hiking and exploring the Black Forest
From the campsite, you can walk straight into the forest, where countless trails lead you past streams, viewpoints, and charming hillsides. Nearby lies the town of Oberkirch, with its quaint shops, bakeries, and the hilltop ruins of Schauenburg. Hiking enthusiasts will love the Renchtalsteig — nearly 100 km of trails through rolling valleys and along ridges offering stunning vistas. Nature lovers will find much to enjoy in the Schwarzwald Mitte/Nord Nature Park, with its variety of landscapes, from damp moorlands to fragrant pine forests. Also worth visiting are the Hornisgrindeturm tower, the Buchkopf viewpoint tower, and the Allerheiligen Waterfalls.
