Microcamping in Radolfzell am Bodensee
This peaceful microcamping site is nestled on a scenic hillside near Tengen in southern Germany. You camp on a grassy meadow offering unobstructed views of the volcanic Hegau mountains. The site is located on a charming farm run by a friendly German–Swiss family. There are only a few pitches scattered across the terrain, giving a true sense of space and tranquillity. Tent campers and small campervans are welcome to choose their own spot.
Children can play for hours in the small play area with playground equipment. In the evening, guests gather around the cosy fire pit under the stars. Fresh eggs from the farm’s own chickens are available, and occasionally other local products are offered. Garden seating invites you to relax with a book or simply enjoy the view and calm.
Hiking and exploring in the Hegau
From the campsite you can walk straight into the gently rolling Hegau landscape. The region is famous for its unique volcanic cones, such as Hohentwiel with its impressive castle ruins. Lake Constance is just a half-hour drive away, offering swimming, boating, and cultural trips to towns like Konstanz or Radolfzell. Nearby you’ll find a variety of hiking trails and quiet country lanes perfect for cycling.
