Nature campsite in Celorico de Basto

MicroCamping Ribas is a small‑scale, handmade camping place in the valley of the Bouro River, near the village of Ribas in northern Portugal. At this micro‑camping site you stay on private land among kiwi vines, just above the river and a waterfall. The spot is designed for tents, bus‑campers or campers up to about five metres in length and includes drinking and water supply, electricity for small appliances and free parking. On the grounds you will find a barbecue area, a seating area at a pond and an ecological dry toilet. A solar shower is installed but only works when the water flow allows it. Outside the high season you can camp without full services—just the dry toilet and barbecue on the private site.

From the campsite you can walk or cycle directly into the wilderness, past waterfalls and quiet streams. For shopping or a local café you drive to the nearby village of Ribas. This location is perfect for those who want to unwind in an unspoilt piece of nature.
