A lovely nature camping site in Drogteropslagen with views over the Reest valley, on the border of Drenthe and Overijssel. Pitch your tent on the owners’ property, with a splendid view across the surrounding fields. On the grounds you’ll find drinking water, a dry toilet, a cold outdoor shower, and you can borrow a Weber BBQ. You have free access to a swimming pond on the site, ideal on warm days. For cozy evenings there is a fire pit; wood can be booked. The communal vegetable garden offers, upon request, the opportunity to dine on self‑grown produce. Chickens, a cat, and a dog roam the property. Bicycles can be safely stored in the barn.

The Reest valley is a unique brook valley area with a characteristic landscape of forests, wet hay meadows, fields and farmhouses along the Reest. Hikers and cyclists can follow the route network to enjoy wonderful trips along the winding brook, through peaceful areas and over old sandy paths.
