Nature Campsite in Guillaumes
At 800 meters above sea level, on the edge of the charming village of Guillaumes, lies this peaceful nature campsite with panoramic views of the Mercantour National Park mountains. The spacious pitches offer plenty of room for tents, caravans, motorhomes, campervans, and roof tents. Each spot has water and electricity, and thanks to their location on either side of the site, guests enjoy lots of privacy and tranquility. At the edge of the property runs a small stream that feeds two ponds: one with colorful koi carp and goldfish, and one with trout. Guests have access to a covered terrace with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, including a fridge/freezer, countertop, sink with hot water, and comfortable seating areas. There is a separate guest bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet, and outside you’ll find an additional shower and sink. A washing machine is available on request.

The surroundings are a paradise for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers. The red rocks and deep gorges of the Gorges de Daluis create an impressive backdrop for excursions, with the famous Pont de la Mariée as a highlight. From Guillaumes, you can easily reach the Parc du Mercantour, where mountain passes such as Col de la Cayolle and Col des Champs await adventurers. In summer, you can swim in the Var River or at the municipal swimming pool in Guillaumes. Cycling enthusiasts will find bike rentals in nearby Valberg, making it easy to explore the mountain landscape on two wheels.
