Nature campsite in Hollfeld
This campspace is located in Bavaria in a small and quiet farming village and on a spacious recreational area opposite a traditional farm. The atmosphere is relaxed and natural, with plenty of space to unwind. You look out over the Wiesent and experience the outdoors up close. Trout, dragonflies, beavers and bats are regularly seen on the grounds. In the summer months, you can harvest vegetables such as lettuce, courgettes, tomatoes and beans from the organic raised beds together with the owners.
Camping on the Wiesent in Franconian Switzerland
Camping is possible with a tent, caravan, camper van, bus camper or roof tent. The camping pitches are spread across the grounds and offer views of the river. Drinking water is available at the campsite and drinking water tanks can be filled. There is a summer kitchen with a gas stove, sink, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, kettle and coffee makers. Outside there is a dining table with a parasol, and when it rains, the covered kitchen is a nice place to cook. There is a fire pit and firewood is available. Right by the river, there is a jetty and a stepping stone for those who want to swim in the Wiesent. There is a trampoline for children and the campsite provides a hammock. There is a separate toilet in a shower tent and electricity is available at the summer kitchen and on the camper pitches. Pets are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash on the grounds.

Hollfeld is located on the edge of Franconian Switzerland, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Bavaria. Here you can walk through a hilly landscape with limestone rocks, forests and river valleys. There are several charming places in the area that are easily accessible for a day trip. Think of Pottenstein, known for its rock formations and outdoor activities, and Gößweinstein, with an impressive basilica and viewpoints over the valley.
