Charming spots for your tent or camper
There are two unique camping spots on the property. One is next to the barn, partially paved and suitable for a camper van or caravan. You’ll camp under the trees with a view of a row of pollard willows. The second spot is hidden behind the barn, only accessible by foot and suitable for a tent. From here, you overlook endless meadows and hear nothing but birds and the soft rustling of the grass. The sanitary facilities consist of a shower and toilet, which are shared with farm staff. In the barn, there’s a small kitchen sink with hot and cold water for washing dishes or sitting dry when it rains. Electricity is available at the spot near the barn, and you can charge your phone there. Drinking water is provided, and inside the barn is a simple seating area for rainy days. The area around this campsite is a dream for nature lovers and peace seekers. You can enjoy canoeing on the Graaf or the picturesque river Giessen, or head to the open waters of De Biesbosch National Park. Prefer to stay on land? There are beautiful walking routes along the canals or hidden teahouses to rest at. The famous windmills of Kinderdijk are just a bike ride away and offer an iconic backdrop for a day trip. Culture lovers can visit the nearby fortified town of Gorinchem or the historic city of Dordrecht, known for its winding streets and old harbours. For an extra adventure, take the water bus to Loevestein Castle, where history comes to life.
