Nature Camping in Orp‑Jauche
Peaceful nature camping on the Walloon countryside. At this rustic nature campsite, you choose your perfect pitch yourself: in the shade of a tree, sheltered from the wind, or with views of the setting sun. Your tent, campervan, camper or rooftop tent sits here in the greenery, on a hectare full of life. There are no fixed pitches, so you enjoy freedom and privacy to the fullest.
Green living between orchard and garden
You camp on the edge of an orchard, adjacent to woodland, a vegetable garden and flower beds. The site is natural and varied, with views over fields, forest and the sunset. You are awakened by birdsong and evenings fall under a clear starry sky. Naturism is permitted in the orchard with mutual respect. Facilities include a solar‑heated outdoor shower, a dry toilet with washbasin and an optional indoor bathroom. You can cook on the barbecue or grill by the firepit, and a fridge is available on request. Plates, pans and cooking equipment can be requested in advance, as well as a table, chairs and camping chairs. In the park there is a cozy seating area with benches, a hammock and a swing. In the small hall you’ll find games such as badminton, pétanque, Twister and darts. Wood for the fire area is available for a small charge, as is coffee or tea.
Discover the Walloon countryside
The location between Jodoigne and Hannut makes this campsite ideal for cyclists and walkers. You can step directly into the woods, among blooming hedgerows and green landscapes. Local products are available nearby such as honey, fruit juices and freshly harvested vegetables from the garden. Local beers are also offered. A short distance away you can explore the impressive caves of Folx‑les‑Caves. This man‑made tunnel system, once used as a mushroom bunker, now forms a fascinating underground labyrinth that can be explored via a marked walking trail.
