Nature Camping in Reninge
This simple yet charming campsite is situated in the rural countryside of Flanders, between Ypres, Diksmuide and the coast. You camp in peaceful surroundings on a spacious grass field around an old farmhouse. There are no fixed pitches, so you choose whether to pitch your tent, rooftop tent, caravan or campervan in the shade of the trees or out in the open. Hardstanding spots are available for campers. Electricity is available if you bring a long extension cable.
Rustic camping among the fields
On the site you’ll find a shared water tap, a washing-up sink and an honesty fridge stocked with chilled drinks. For cooking and dining there is a picnic table and a covered seating area where you can stay dry if it rains. In the evening you can use the fire bowl for a campfire. Bringing your own wood is best, though small bundles are available for purchase. Children can play on the swing or in the small playground.

The location is ideal for travellers or anyone wishing to explore the area by bike. Ypres and Diksmuide are just a fifteen-minute drive away, offering culture, history and local charm. The coast is reachable within half an hour. For families, De Zonnegloed animal park is only two kilometres away and showcases rescued animals in a natural environment. The wide-open fields and country lanes beckon for long walks or peaceful bike rides far from the crowds.
