This small-scale nature campsite is tucked away in the hills of Salir do Porto, in Portugal’s Leiria region. Just 15 kilometres south of Nazaré, you’ll sleep surrounded by greenery with views of the bay and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a dream spot for peace seekers, nature lovers and eco-conscious campers. The 2000 square metre site offers space for three camping spots for tents, campers or caravans. Each pitch is carefully selected and offers a view of the sea, forest or fields. Electricity and wifi are deliberately absent here. What is available: drinking water, a compost toilet, a cold shower and a basic washing area. Life here revolves around sustainability. Only biodegradable cleaning products are allowed and are available on request.
There’s a small play area for children. Pets are welcome, as are naturists. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, with soft lighting and a shared picnic table. Guests are asked to treat this special place with care and to book in advance.
