Nature campsite in Trausella
Fully off-grid nature campsite with Dutch owners in the wilds of Piedmont, northwestern Italy. Here you stay with your tent or caravan in the heart of nature, surrounded by trees, mountains and deep tranquility. Scattered across the grounds are several idyllic pitches where you literally step into the forest as you unzip your tent. There is also a retro caravan from the 1970s, warmly furnished with a double bed and a sitting area that can be converted into an extra sleeping space. Everything here is off-grid. You drink fresh water from a natural spring, shower under a tree in the open air and share meals at a handmade chestnut table under the stars.
Camping in the green of Piedmont
The site offers simple but thoughtful facilities. There are toilets, a cold outdoor shower and wood-heated hot water available on request. A basin serves as a dishwashing area, and the shared outdoor kitchen is perfect for cooking and eating together. Electricity is limited but sufficient to charge phones via a small power station. Wifi is available within a small radius around the house, and mobile reception is good. When it rains, you can cook in the covered kitchen, and in the evenings there is atmospheric lighting and firewood for warmth and coziness. Children can run around freely and meet the friendly dog and cat that live on the property. Outside you’ll find a picnic table and comfortable seating areas where you can relax with views of the surrounding nature.
