Nature campsite in Ville-du-Pont
This nature campsite is located in the protected landscape of Haut-Doubs in the Bourgogne region. It is lovingly run by Fred and Cora on their traditional Comtoise farm from 1733. You camp in their large private garden overlooking meadows, with no traffic noise, only the gentle sound of Montbéliarde cows. Only one reservation is accepted at a time, ensuring complete peace and quiet. You can stay with a tent, bus camper, rooftop tent or caravan on flat ground next to the farm. There are dry toilets in the garden, a solar shower with warm water on request, and water access. The small chalet includes a fridge, kitchen equipment, cooking facilities and special appliances like a raclette oven or waffle iron upon request. In the evening, you can relax by the firepit, with firewood available on request.

Just 300 metres away, the GTJ (GR 509) trail begins, a spectacular route through the Jura mountains ideal for hiking and mountain biking. For water lovers, there is Lac Saint-Point, the Taillères Lake in Switzerland and Lake Neuchâtel. Natural highlights include the Entreroche Gorges, the Chaudières waterfalls and the impressive Saut du Doubs waterfall, where boat trips are also available. Culture enthusiasts can visit the Abbey of Montbenoît, the medieval Château de Joux and a typical Comtoise farmhouse in Grand Combe-Chateleu. Local specialties such as Comté, Mont d’Or, Morbier, cancoillotte and Morteau sausage are not to be missed.
