Nature campsite in Vraignes-en-Vermandois
This small-scale, green campsite is set in the rural landscape of the Haute-Somme, just a ten-minute drive from Péronne and Saint-Quentin. Here you can camp in complete peace on a well-maintained site with fifteen spacious pitches, ideal for tents, caravans, motorhomes, campervans and roof tents. The pitches are scattered throughout a green park, surrounded by fields and flowers. You can choose between sunny open spots or more sheltered locations. The campsite has three showers, three toilets and a cosy communal kitchen with fridge, hob, washing-up area, kettle and dining table. There is a washing machine and free WiFi throughout the site. For entertainment, there is a table tennis table where you can enjoy a friendly match. Every morning (except Sunday) fresh bread and pastries can be delivered by the baker from the nearby village.

Vraignes-en-Vermandois is a picturesque village in the Somme where time seems to slow down. Stroll through the quiet streets and admire the Église Saint-Pierre, the war memorial and the statue of Hector Crinon, a famous Picard poet and sculptor. The centuries-old Via Francigena pilgrimage route runs right through the village, inviting you for a relaxing walk through the rolling countryside. In the surrounding area, you will find plenty of culture and history. Visit the Historial de la Grande Guerre in Péronne for an impressive insight into the First World War or wander through the charming centre of Saint-Quentin. For a unique experience, hop aboard the Chemin de fer touristique du Vermandois, a nostalgic steam train that takes you through the countryside.
