Nature Campsite in Wimille
A small-scale, green campsite in northern France, just 7 kilometres from the Wimereux promenade and close to the Côte d’Opale. The campsite is situated on a former agricultural plot of 13,000 m², part of which has been converted into an orchard and vegetable garden, part is reserved for guests, and a small area is left to remain in its natural state. You can stay here with a caravan, campervan, motorhome, tent or roof tent. Guests must be self-sufficient in terms of water and electricity, but a 10,000 W generator is available on request. The pitches range from open fields to more sheltered spots, so you can choose your ideal setting. The campsite is simply but cosily furnished, with dry toilets and basic facilities. There is a special area for campfires and barbecues, where you can enjoy a cosy evening with other guests. The atmosphere is friendly, with opportunities for boules, sunbathing or simply relaxing in the countryside.

The campsite is an excellent base from which to explore the Opal Coast and its charming coastal villages. Just a few kilometres away, you’ll find picturesque beaches such as those in Wimereux, Ambleteuse and Audresselles. Nature lovers will be in their element in the Parc Naturel Régional des Caps et Marais d’Opale, where countless walking and cycling routes wind through dunes, marshes and open fields. Culturally, Boulogne-sur-Mer is a must-visit, with the famous Nausicaá marine aquarium and its historic centre. For panoramic views of the coast, visit Cap Gris-Nez or Cap Blanc-Nez. Families will also find plenty to enjoy in the area, such as the La Colline aux Animaux petting zoo in Wierre-Effroy and the tree-top adventure park on the banks of the Liane.
