Polder Hut at Camping Zonnehoeve
The Polder Hut at Camping Zonnehoeve is one of those places you instantly fall in love with. This cosy A-frame cabin stands right at the water’s edge, overlooking the wide-open polders of Oudenhoorn. Thanks to the unique design with a fold-open side wall, you truly experience outdoor living. Even during a light rain shower, the panel can stay open and you can enjoy warm summer evenings. At night you watch the fields from your deck as the sun sets, and in the morning you wake up to a gentle breeze and the sound of birds and frogs.
Comfortable, atmospheric and surprisingly complete
The Polder Hut is designed for two people, making it perfect for a romantic night away, a short escape or a comfortable stopover for cyclists and hikers. Inside you’ll find a comfortable double bed (160×200), two stools, a small table, a coat rack and two small loft areas for bags or clothing. There is electricity, lighting and even heating, so you can sit comfortably on cooler evenings. On the deck you’ll find two lounge chairs, ideal for enjoying the view with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
Sanitary facilities are located in the main building, where several showers, toilets and a dishwashing area are available. Bed linen must be brought yourself or can be booked optionally for €15 per set. Cooking is done in the outdoor kitchen, which is fully equipped with a fridge, induction hob, coffee maker, kettle, pans, crockery and cutlery.
Extras that make your stay even nicer
On weekends from mid-April to mid-September, you can join the cosy communal dinners or enjoy freshly baked pizzas on the campsite. Warm bread rolls are available on Saturday and Sunday mornings. During the day, the grounds invite you to relax: hammocks, fire pits, the courtyard terrace and plenty of space for walking, cycling or simply doing nothing at all.
