Village Huttopia Pays de Condrieu
Village Huttopia Pays de Condrieu is located in the heart of Pilat Natural Park just below Lyon in southeastern France. The Village overlooks the mountains and the Rhône Valley and is surrounded by vineyards and forests. Guests can enjoy a heated outdoor swimming pool with a paddling pool and rent electric mountain bikes to explore the surroundings. For the entertainment of children, there is a playground, ping pong table, and meeting space with table football and board games. For a quick bite, hot meal, or tasty snack, guests can visit the café-restaurant and snack bar. There is also a small shop where fresh bread is available throughout the season. Guests stay in one of the charming glamping accommodations, such as a safari tent, cahutte, or wooden chalet. Ideal for those who love comfort but still want to experience the camping atmosphere.
Activities at the Glamping Site
During the summer holidays, fun activities are organized every day at the glamping site, such as creative workshops, cooking classes, treehouse building, yoga, and outdoor cinema. There is something for everyone! During the spring and autumn holidays, there is entertainment six days a week, and during the rest of the year, it’s available on weekends.
Accommodations at Huttopia Pays de Condrieu
Village Huttopia Pays de Condrieu offers various types of accommodations, such as safari tents and wooden chalets, suitable for up to 6 people. They are the ideal destination for a family holiday in the Rhône and feature multiple bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a furnished terrace. Almost all accommodations have their own bathroom, except for the Canadienne Cosy tent, making it perfect for holidaymakers who want to experience the true camping feeling. Linens and towels are included in your stay, and there is a fan, electricity, and a wood stove and/or heating in your accommodation. The ‘Ontorio’ chalet type is specially designed for people with reduced mobility, with a wheelchair ramp and spacious bathroom with a certified shower cabin.
The Surroundings
The glamping site is nestled in nature, approximately 45 minutes’ drive from the center of Lyon, in Pilat Natural Park. Just a stone’s throw away are the vineyards of Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu, where you can stroll along the vineyards and taste a glass of red or white wine. In the area, you can enjoy various landscapes with numerous beautiful hiking trails and cycling routes. 14 kilometers away lies the historic city of Vienne, which boasts exceptional Gallo-Roman heritage and a Saturday market featuring regional specialties such as Burlat cherries and Rigotte de Condrieu cheese. For a fun day out with the kids, head to the Condrieu Recreation Area, which has a beach, supervised swimming area, and inflatable water climbing course in the summer.
