Betuwestrand Recreation is a 5-star family campsite located by a recreational lake in Gelderland, near the village of Beesd. The campsite is located in the Betuwe, a beautiful region in the south of Gelderland. There is so much to see and do there. Charming towns like Buren, Tiel, and Elst are waiting to be explored. The area also has a rich history of castles, including the impressive Doornenburg Castle and the historic Fort bij Asperen. Furthermore, the Betuwe is renowned for its beautiful orchards. Especially in the spring, it’s a enchanting experience to visit them when the trees are in full bloom. But even in the fall, the orchards are worth discovering, where you can see the pickers at work. If you want a truly unique experience, the apple picking days are highly recommended. Then, you’ll have the opportunity to pick fresh apples and pears from the trees yourself.
