BoerenBed Figari Corsica is a small-scale campsite in the Figari region in southern Corsica, on the edge of the mountains. There are three luxury HeerenBoer tents available for rent, each suitable for six people. The safari tents are fully equipped. There is a double bed, a private toilet in the tent and a hot shower next to the tent. There is also a playground with a slide, swing and playhouse, making the campsite ideal for (young) families with children. The owners, Pierre Paul and Santa, have fields full of beautiful straw flowers and own a vineyard covering no less than six hectares. In the vineyards, you can learn about distillation techniques (only in June and July) or take part in the harvest (only in August). Dogs are allowed at this campsite.

Enjoy the agricultural part of Corsica

In the south of Corsica, you can enjoy the many small bays, beautiful nature, quiet beaches and other wonderful sights. Figari is a 15-minute drive from the town of Porto Vecchio and only a 25-30 minute drive from the fortified town of Bonifacio. Want to enjoy the sun? Then you will find the beach of Pianotolli a 10-minute drive away. Other beaches, such as Petit Sperone, Rondinara and Roccapina, are about a 40-minute drive away. Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy walking in the old town of Gianucciu or climbing Mount Cagna. This is a rock formation that forms L’Uomo di Cagna and is no less than 1,224 metres high. Figari Airport is only a 10-minute drive away.
