Camping Chez Philipaud in Montmérac is a small nature campsite in the Charente department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. At this quiet mini campsite, located in a spacious orchard, you can choose between a spot in the sun or (partial) shade. You can enjoy the swimming pool (5 x 10 metres) with sun loungers, delicious evening meals in the brasserie with terrace and the beautiful surroundings with sunflowers and vineyards. With WiFi. The sanitary building is spacious. There is a playground for the little ones. Beaches, towns and rivers are within easy reach for day trips. Bicycles can be hired and delivered/collected at the campsite. In addition to all these possibilities, the owner organises a weekly (or more frequent, if desired) excursion to the local wine and cognac house. He explains in your own language how the process from grape to cognac bottle works. You will see the distillery and the storage facilities, and of course there is a tasting.
