Camping De La Baie
Camping De La Baie in Pende is a quiet family campsite located in the countryside, near the Bay of the Somme. The campsite rents out camping pitches, mobile homes, chalets and holiday homes. You can pitch tents, caravans and motorhomes on the pitches. For entertainment, there is a boules court, mini golf course and volleyball court. Younger campers can also enjoy themselves in the playground with a slide, climbing frame and trampoline. Fresh bread rolls are available every morning during the high season.
The Bay of Somme
The campsite is located in the unspoilt nature of the Bay of Somme, in north-western France. This estuary has been declared a nature reserve to protect the flora and fauna of the area. The landscape consists of dunes, beaches, cliffs, water and vast plains. The area is home to the largest seal colony in Europe. There are also several towns around the bay, of which Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme is the most enjoyable to visit. This picturesque town has a medieval centre with old cobbled streets and quaint houses.
