Camping du Batut is a small campsite on the River Tarn in the green heart of the Aveyron in Occitanie in the south of France. A cosy family campsite with a friendly atmosphere. Ideal for lovers of peace and quiet, space, nature and for walking, swimming and fishing. The camping pitches are not separated by hedges or anything else. This creates a friendly atmosphere on the campsite and allows you to get to know your neighbours if you feel like it. Hear the babbling water, the call of the owl and marvel at the view of the rocks. Camping in the Aveyron

Camping du Batut is located in the Tarn valley, in a beautifully preserved hilly landscape with mainly oak forests and here and there a field where Roquefort sheep can graze. Tourism has barely penetrated here, so the villages in the area are still quiet and authentic. Its location right on the River Tarn sets Camping du Batut apart from other campsites in the area. The Tarn is ideal for swimming, canoeing and fishing (with a licence). Don’t forget to bring your walking boots, as there are a number of beautiful trails leading directly from the campsite into the hills.
