Natural beauty, unique encounters, regional heritage and new experiences are central to your holiday! Six days a week, fun activities are organised, either free of charge or at an additional cost. For example, you can take part in a nature walk in Meinweg Park. At sunset, let yourself be taken on a walk with a headlamp in the heart of the National Park. Take a nature walk and set off to discover the flora and fauna. The park has a great biodiversity with many wild animals: if you are lucky, you may encounter foxes, badgers, amphibians, reptiles and more, as well as the 110 species of birds that live there!

Gastronomy in the province of Limburg

Limburg is a culinary province with a number of excellent restaurants, including ten with Michelin stars, as well as vineyards that introduce you to the (growing) Dutch wine tradition. The province is also known for its delicate, refined and spring-like asparagus, also known as ‘white gold’.

Discover Herkenbosch and Roermond

In the village of Herkenbosch, a 5-minute bike ride from the campsite, you will find everything you need with a few shops, cafés, restaurants and a petrol station. The city of Roermond, 15 minutes away by car, is a great place for a night out on the town, dining in a restaurant or shopping.
