Camping Le Chamadou in Balazuc is a medium-sized 4-star campsite with an outdoor swimming pool in the south of the Ardèche. This peaceful campsite in the south of France is only 15 minutes from the famous Gorges de l’Ardèche. Camping Le Chamadou offers an oasis of tranquillity among the vineyards. The campsite offers a range of beautifully furnished chalets. It is also possible to bring your own tent, caravan or motorhome and set it up on one of the camping pitches. Camping Le Chamadou also has a beautiful swimming pool with a lovely slide and a pool for the little ones. There are numerous activities on the campsite. There is a beautiful sports field, two inflatable games, mini golf and table tennis. There is also a fun entertainment team with activities such as sports tournaments, sumo wrestling, treasure hunts, slide contests, pony rides and a visit to the petting zoo located on the campsite. The campsite also has a restaurant with a bar and pizzeria, where local products are also sold. Furthermore, you can order bread and croissants in July and August.

There is plenty to do around Camping Le Chamadou. There are a few beautiful villages nearby, such as Labeaume, Rochecolombe, Balazue and Vogüé, which are definitely worth a visit. You can also visit various museums, such as the chestnut museum Musée de La Châtaigneraie and Musée de La Soie. A visit to the Château Des Roure castle is also highly recommended. Furthermore, the Ardèche has beautiful nature with various caves (Saint Marcel d’Ardeche, Grotte De La Madeleine and the Aven D’Orgnac), valleys (Vallée de L’Ibie) and beautiful water (Résurgence de Font Vive). You also have De Bois De Païolive, a beautiful forest with boulders, and De Pont D’Arc, a beautiful natural bridge.
