Camping Le Diamant
Camping Le Diamant in Saint-Jean-Saint-Nicolas is a cozy family campsite under the sun of the Southern Alps. From the campsite, you have a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountain peaks. The campsite offers a playground, fishing pond, and a super cool climbing wall. There is also a recreation area with ping-pong tables, foosball, and a TV room. From May 1st to September 30th, there is a snack bar open, selling fast food, bread, ice cream, etc. During the peak season, fun activities are organized daily (except Sundays) for both young and old, such as petanque tournaments, volleyball tournaments, and various games for children. The campsite offers both camping pitches and a number of mobile homes for rent.
The Surroundings of Camping Le Diamant
The campsite is the ideal base for an active holiday in the Southern Alps. Camping Le Diamant is located at an altitude of 1,100 meters in the Champsaur Valley, near the Écrins National Park. There is plenty to do in the area. The campsite is situated by a river where you can build dams, and nearby, you can go rafting and kayaking. Additionally, there are two free guided mountain hikes per week. Other activities you can enjoy in the area include paragliding, horseback riding, tennis, golf, bowling, ice skating, and swimming in the indoor pool in Orcières.
