Camping Le Moulin

In the heart of the Verdon Regional Nature Park, in the town of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and not far from Lake Sainte-Croix and the famous Gorges du Verdon, you will find Camping Le Moulin. Located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Enjoy the delightful warm southern French sunshine on the four-hectare park, with 150 well-shaded pitches along a small river. The campsite also offers several nicely furnished bungalow tents and mobile homes. Camping Le Moulin in southern France is situated in a special environment less than a 10-minute walk from Lake Sainte-Croix and on the edge of one of the most beautiful villages in France, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. On the campsite, there is a small shop where you can buy basic products. Additionally, you can play boules, table tennis, fish in the river that runs past the campsite, and children can play on the playground.

Activities in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence

There is plenty to do around Camping Le Moulin. For example, you can drive to Lake Sainte-Croix via a beautiful quiet road. There, you can enjoy the water and the beach, but you can also go windsurfing, canoeing, and pedal boating. Additionally, the Gorges du Verdon Natural Park, with its beautiful mountain landscape, offers opportunities for hiking, climbing, and paragliding. You can also explore the mountainous landscape by pedal boat or canoe. Furthermore, there are some super charming villages nearby, such as Aiguines, Sillans-la-Cascade, Bauduen, Tourtour, and Trigance. Moreover, you can visit the highest bridge in Provence, the Pont de l’Artuby, and take a tour of the lavender fields. Hiking is also excellent in this area; you can discover various caves in the Basses Gorges, the stunning Gorges du Verdon area, or take the train towards Nice. The Train des Pignes is an original way to connect Digne-les-Bains and Nice. The narrow railway line is 150 kilometers long, and along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. The train has 15 stops where you can get off and enjoy lovely walks.
