Camping Le Parc
Camping Le Parc is a small-scale family campsite in the heart of the Dordogne, nestled among the chestnut trees of the Périgord. Those looking for peace and nature, but who also enjoy lively entertainment and socialising, will find what they are looking for at this campsite. The campsite has spacious pitches for tents and caravans, with electrical hook-ups at every pitch. Every evening from Wednesday to Sunday, as well as on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, you can enjoy delicious pizzas from the pizzeria. Relax in the indoor swimming pool with French doors in the summer. For children, there is a playground at Camping Le Parc, and the whole family can play a game on the boules court.
Camping in the Périgord
Camping Le Parc is an excellent base from which to explore the Dordogne. Visit the beautiful castles, such as Château de Monbazillac near Bergerac. The caves of Pech-Merle, near Cabrerets, are also worth a visit. In addition to stalactite caves, there are also caves with rock paintings dating back to prehistoric times. Be sure to include the caves of Lascaux on your trip through the region. Sarlat is a historic car-free town that is definitely worth a visit. Don’t miss out on the delicious regional dishes, wines and cosy terraces.
